Phantom Manor 2019 by Martin

by on Sep.07, 2019, under Disneyland Park (Paris), Disneyland Resort Paris, Frontierland

Phantom Manor 2019 by Martin from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

My first edit that I shot myself totally in 4K. This has enabled me to produce an edit that’s more or less how the human eye sees it. The attraction reopened earlier this year after a 15 month refurbishment and I was lucky to ride it several times in June. Take a tour of the garden and queue, enter the foyer, and take a complete multi angle tour of the attraction covering every detail. After riding, exit the crypt, take a look around the cemetery and then sample the atmosphere as darkness falls.

Audio is a mix of totally clean live and source, hopefully it is one of the best versions of the complete new soundtrack available to date.

The Living Seas – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute

by on Jul.07, 2018, under Epcot, Future World, Walt Disney World

The Living Seas – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

The next in my series of completely new edits. Starting with an in-depth look at the pavilions history, and the original 1978 “The Seas” pavilion, see how a “hybrid” version developed and would have looked before coming to the 1986 version for an in depth look at its design, layout and construction.

Next, take a look outside and then walk in for a look at the queue and exhibits before reaching the holding rotunda for a faithful and accurate high quality recreation of the original United Technologies preshow one. Proceed into one of the preshow theatres for a new, high quality edit of the original “The Sea” preshow with ALD audio.

Leaving the preshow, browse the hydrolator hall before your descent, again with higher quality multi angle video and source / clean audio.

Arriving at the sea bed, again take a look around before boarding a Seacab for a multi angle video, higher quality audio ride with Commander Fulton to Seabase Alpha. Take a complete tour of the seabase, the divers lockout chamber, all six exhibit modules, J.A.S.O.N. and the viewing area. See both versions of The Coral Reef restaurant and take an authorised, accompanied tour of the United Technologies VIP lounge.

Finally, see the changes made to the pavilion over the years. 72 minutes long.

The Land – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute – Three of Three 2005-2018

by on May.05, 2018, under Epcot, Future World, Walt Disney World

The Land – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute – Three of Three 2005-2018 from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

The third and final brand new look at The Land pavilion. Start with a look at the changes made in 2005, how the Soarin’ theatres were added and how the ride system works. Following the rededication take a full tour in HD of the pavilion. Board your boat for Living with the Land, with hopefully the best quality and most complete video coverage of the 2005 version of the ride. This is accompanied by hopefully the best, cleanest and most source-like audio soundtrack available, recorded from private boat rides for clean ambiance and source quality mixes of music and narration.

Next up take the trek to Soarin’ for the full original preshow and mainshow, with again hopefully the highest quality audio and video possible.

Join a Behind the Seeds tour for highlights of the walk through the ride areas for an alternate look at the greenhouses.

See the additions made for Soarin’ Around the World, the addition and placement of the third theatre, then the highlights of the new version of the attraction with an emphasis on the ride system.

Finally take an extended view of the rides show scenes from The Garden Grill restaurant.

Ellen’s Energy Adventure – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute

by on Dec.02, 2017, under Epcot, Future World, Walt Disney World

Ellen's Energy Adventure – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

A colossal and technically challenging project, 12 months in the making. My intention, as always, was to capture every detail of the attraction in the highest audio and video quality possible.

Starting in the mid 1990s, see the proposals for the Energy pavilion refurb. Then take a detailed look at the summer of 1996 Universe of Energy hybrid version and the changes made for Ellen’s Energy Adventure.

Fast forward to 2017 for a shot in 4K, mastered in full HD complete tour of the pavilion. Starting outside for a look at the building this is followed by a walk past the entrance mosaic and into the preshow theatre.

The preshow is presented in full, with a source quality audio track, and each screen was tripod shot separately for complete control over placement and alignment and to allow me to composite and position each projection perfectly for the best quality and to cover all the details.

Next, walk into theatre one and board your travelling theatre for the main show, again each screen was tripod shot separately for the best composite positioning and quality. With a source quality audio track.

And so we then travel into the diorama. I make no apologies for the amount of coverage here, I aimed to cover every detail, every effect, every animatronic. Stunning low light 4K video captured this I hope. With a new clean live audio mix.

Moving into theatre two, hear the full KNRG news report in source quality as the travelling theatre re assembles. Watch the whole theatre two film, again each screen was tripod shot for full quality and flexibility. Each screen was also straightened and re composited to achieve their correct appearance that was impossible to shoot from the ride vehicle. With a source quality audio mix.

Finally, travel back into theatre one for a tripod shot finale, and then take in the architecture details as you exit. See the changes made to the pavilion since 1996, and take a lights on walking tour of the diorama during the last public ride. Ride a full locked off time lapse tripod trip through the diorama, and finish with a look at the pavilion at night.

Given the changes ahead I wanted to capture as much of the pavilion and attraction as possible. I hope I achieved this in this 84 minute edit.

Journey into Imagination – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute

by on Sep.09, 2017, under Epcot, Future World, Walt Disney World

Journey Into Imagination – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

The next of my completely re edited EPCOT Center videos, the first in my Imagination trilogy, and another massive project.

Begin with the origins of the pavilion, from the EPCOT Arts Pavilion and Discovery Bay to the duel ride floor Imagination proposal. See how the pavilion developed, how the pavilion and ride were laid out and how the ride system worked, and how it all came together for opening – or not.

Next walk into the original Pavilion for a detailed look at the open atrium lobby complete with wall mural coverage. Board your ride vehicle and take a full, multi camera journey through the original attraction. Enhanced and cleaned up multiple angles show every detail. Each projection has had flicker minimised or eliminated. See each show scene in full, complete with a brand new stereo audio mix featuring more high quality and source audio than previously available.

After unload take the stars or the elevator up to the Imageworks for a full tour of the original interactive playground of the future. Then take the escalator down to the Magic Eye Theatre for a look at Makin’ Memories, Dreamfinders Chase as source quality, and then enter the main theatre for Magic Journeys in full – shot on a tripod with a polarising filter to minimise the duel image effect and with screen flicker greatly reduced. With a stereo source soundtrack.

After the movie ends, take a look around the fountain garden and camera store. Finally, see what changes were made to the pavilion, including the early 90s overhaul of The Imageworks and take a tour of version two of the upper floor.

Another huge labour of love. 88 minutes long.
