Disneyland Paris – Martins Complete Tour Part Five – Discoveryland
by admin on Oct.05, 2024, under Discoveryland, Disneyland Park (Paris), Disneyland Resort Paris
The fifth part of my seven part complete tour of Disneyland Paris. Again, this isn’t a one shot walkaround. It’s edited to highlight the design and details, the architecture and layout of this fantastic park, shot in 4K and with the appropriate music.
Start by looking around the entrance from Central Plaza, then take in the queue and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast – shot in low light multi angle, and exit into the Constellations store. Take a spin on Orbitron, then explore Videopolis. Explore the back of the land and then take a peak at Star Tours. Exit via the Star Traders gift shop and take a peek in SpacePort. Pop into the Discoveryland Theatre and take in the design of the area before exploring Hyperspace Mountain, taking a multi angle ride on Autopia and quick walk through the Nautilus.
And there’s more! Walk around the back of Space Mountain as dusk falls, and then take a highlights walking tour of the entire park and each land after dark to see how different and amazing it looks when lit. Enjoy!
Disneyland Paris – Martins complete tour part 4 – Fantasyland
by admin on Sep.07, 2024, under Disneyland Park (Paris), Disneyland Resort Paris, Fantasyland
Continuing my tour of Disneyland Paris, here is a complete look around Fantasyland. A land so big it has a canal through the middle of it! As before I wanted to show every shop and restaurant and in this episode also feature multi camera edits of each attraction that I haven’t previously covered. Again, shot in 4K and all set to the appropriate music.
Take a look around Peter Pans Flight then take a multi angle, low light full ride. Eat in Toad Hall. Meet Mickey. Take a ride on Dumbo. Take a full tour of the castle including the upper balcony, the dungeon with dragon, Merlin L’enchanteur and La Boutique du Chateau. Tour the courtyards behind the castle and then dine at Auberge de Cendrillon. Shop in La Confiserie des Trois Fees, La Menagerie du Royaume, Sir Mickeys and La Chaumiere des Sept Nains, ride the Carousel, take multi angle low light rides on Blanche Neige et les Sept Nains and Les Voyages de Pinocchio, shop in La Bottega di Geppetto and eat in Au Chalet de La Marionnette, run through, over under and in and out of Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, spin on the Tea Cups, visit the Old Mill and Storybook Land for the Canal Cruise and Casey Jr., take a peak at the Princesses Pavilion and it’s a small world and then eat at Pizzeria Bella Notte.
Again, this isn’t just a one camera walk around. I wanted to show the details, design, layout and architecture that makes this park so special. Enjoy!

And so my in depth tour of this resort continues with one of the largest and most well designed lands. Travel from Africa to Asia, the tropics to the Caribbean. Again I intended to highlight the design, architecture and landscaping and show here how multiple countries, continents and themes can seamlessly blend together.
Begin by looking at some of the entrances to the land, some easier to find than others, and take a quick Look around Agrabah Cafe restaurant. Walk through La Girafe Curieuse and Aladdins Passage, Restaurant Hakuna Matata and explore the riverside terraces. Walk further into the land via Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant and take a look at Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. We then move onto Adventure Isle for a quick walk up Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and a full tour of the pathways, bridges, tunnels, waterways and caves that make the island a real adventure.
Back on the mainland, see how the land was designed to both join and hide Fantasyland, then tour the area around Skull Rock and Pirates of the Caribbean before taking a quick ride, ending in Le Coffre du Capitaine and Captain Jacks Restaurant.
Again, this was all shot in 4K and is set to the appropriate background music.
Disneyland Paris – Martins complete tour part two – Frontierland
by admin on Jul.06, 2024, under Disneyland Park (Paris), Disneyland Resort Paris, Frontierland, Uncategorized
Continuing my tour of the Parisian resort, part two takes us to Frontierland. As before my plan was to show the design and architecture of the park as well as highlights of attractions, and to look inside every shop and restaurant. And so, take a stroll through the land from both the main hub entrance and the bypass tunnel. Pop inside the Lucky Nugget and Silver Spur, the Last Chance cafe, see highlights of Phantom Manor, the Molly Brown and Big Thundermountain, the playground, Rhythms of the Pride Lands, and also shop in the Mercantile, look around Casa de Coco and Cowboy Cookout, take a peek at the Rustler Rounup Shootin’ Gallery (Paris still has one!) and finally take a circle tour of the park from the Frontierland Railroad Station.
Disneyland Paris Martins Complete Tour – Part One: Main Street USA
by admin on Jun.01, 2024, under Disneyland Park (Paris), Disneyland Resort Paris, Main Street, U.S.A.
Nearly 20 years ago I attempted a “full” video tour of Disneyland Paris. Now, over 2 years in the making, I’ve tried it again. The first thing I found was it wouldn’t fit into just one video! And so, I’ve split it into several episodes each looking at one land of Disneyland Parc, the studios, and also the wider resort, Disney Village, and a tour of each of the onsite hotels. Recorded in 4K over multiple visits between June 2019 and May 2024, and all set to the appropriate music, I wanted to show more than just attractions. Yes, I do look at the highlights of each ride and show, but I wanted more to show the design, architecture, details, the atmosphere, the ambiance and more of the parks and resort and also not make it just a one shot walk-around. I also wanted to look inside every shop and restaurant, at transport options, and to present the parks and resorts at their best as a guide to a potential first timer, a memory for those who have visited, and as a show of the fantastic, beautiful design of the original park and resort. A lot of footage was shot during Covid restrictions which offered a great look around almost empty parks.
Such is the current speed of renovations and additions in DLP, I’ve had to re edit and show some areas in their before and after state. I’ve also purposely included – in detail – the Village and Studios Park as they were in early 2024, right before their respective massive overhauls began as a reminder of how they used to be.
One challenge was to include all this detail I wanted to show, but also to keep the video moving and not dwell on anything too much and basically not become too boring. I hope you think I found that balance.
And so, here is part one – Main Street, USA. Explore Fantasia Gardens, the arrival process, Town Square, each shop, every corner, Walt’s and Plaza Gardens Restaurants, every quick serve option, the undercover arcades, the vehicles, take a ride on the fire engine, look around the railroad station, look at the design of each buildings architecture, and end inside the castle. Unlike later episodes there isn’t any real attention to a specific attraction since the whole area is an attraction in itself. I hope you enjoy this and the other episodes.

Go back to 1992 and see how the overcrowded park decided to handle the crowds with various versions of an Indiana Jones attraction. See how the ride was designed and built, and the changes made since opening and then take a full shot in 4K tour of the area, queue and ride itself.
Phantom Manor – Martins 2022 Ultimate Tribute

Phantom Manor – Martins 2022 Ultimate Tribute from Martins Videos on Vimeo.
3 years ago I did a Phantom Manor ride edit. Taking the basis of this, I decided to see if I could improve it. 31 rides later and I have a whole new shot-in-4K edit.
Start with a look at the history of the attraction and it’s storyline, then take a close look at every major change made in the 2018 rebuild. Following this is a detailed visit to the attraction, starting outside in the garden and through the whole Manor and out and around Boot Hill Cemetery. I tried to cover every detail inside and outside including closeups of things often missed. Picture quality is much better than my previous edit, and I tried with each shot to present things as guests see them on the ride – not too dark and not too bright. Audio is a brand new, better quality mix with more source than before too. Finish off with a walk around the manor and the cemetery at night. At an hour long I hope you think this is one of the most comprehensive looks at the attraction to date.
Enjoy!
Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary with Dream… and Shine Brighter by Martin
by admin on Aug.06, 2022, under Disneyland Park (Paris), Disneyland Resort Paris, Main Street, U.S.A., Parades, Fireworks, and Shows
To celebrate 30 years of Disneyland Paris, the park runs 4 times a day (heat allowing) this parade / stage show anniversary extravaganza. It features dozens of performers, a parade up Main Street, 4 main stages plus the hub, amazingly energetic dancing and stunning choreography, and a pumping music track that squeezes so many songs into one show.
Start by looking at the anniversary park decor and the Gardens of Wonder in front of the castle, then take your place for the impressively lavish parade / show. Shot in 4K from 10 different angles I covered as much of the action as possible including all 4 stages. Audio is a very good quality clean live mix from 6 sources to ensure I got each stage audio track when appropriate plus the parade and underliner. I hope you enjoy this great ambitious piece of entertainment.
Next take a peek at the castle fountain show, then as the sun sets take your spot for D-Light, the 30th drone, fountain and projection show that precedes IllumiNations, again shot multi angle with a carefully mixed audio track to eliminate as much crowd noise as possible.
Happy 30th Disneyland Paris!
