Another huge project…. full of WEDway!
Beginning with the origins of the ride, look at how Tomorrowland developed and how the WEDway route was refined. See the development of the ride system progressed, how it fits into Tomorrowland and how it actually works. Next is a full concept and construction section, followed by a recreation of the original 1975-1985 era ride. Using vintage footage take a multi angle trip around and through the whole ride including Mission to Mars, RCA Space Mountain with Home of Future Living and If You Have Wings, set to the original Jack Wagner spiel. I’m hoping this audio track, whilst certainly not perfect, is one of the clearest and most complete mixes available.
This is followed by a spin on the original Star Jets.
Next up is a full multi angle night ride on the 1985-1994 ORAC-1 WEDway. This includes RCAs RYCA-1 and Delta Dreamflight. Audio again is I hope one of the clearest and most complete version of this spiel, mixed from front and rear car recordings so nothing was missed.
See the changes made in 1994, then take a full daytime multi angle ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority TTA Blueline. Again, audio was specifically recorded with a directional microphone from both the front and back cars, and again I hope this is one of the best and most complete recordings.
Following this is a full multi camera, HD spin on the Astro Orbiter.
This is followed by yet more – a HD, multi angle daytime ride of the 2009 Peoplemover with audio again mixed from front and rear cars. I also with this edit attempted to use more unusual camera angles to differ from the many ride throughs already available.
And still there’s more! A daytime off ride look at the Peoplemover as it travels around the various parts of Tomorrowland.
For anyone still watching, next up is an in depth look at the WEDway proposed for Lake Buena Vista, E.P.C.O.T. and Communicore. Then look at and ride the WEDway at Houston Airport and the WEDway derived line in Washington DC.
And finally….. a night time HD multi angle ride around Tomorrowland of today.
Each section is set to contemporary Tomorrowland music of the time. 87 minutes long.
Shot in full HD on tripod from over a dozen angles, the complete current show from Orlando.
Start with a history and concepts section before watching the full main show in fantastic quality with a full source quality soundtrack. Then see the changes made over the years and take a peek at the seasonal variations that used to play.
For the attractions 21st anniversary in Florida, a brand new edit. See its origins from 1992s EuroDisneyland, the attraction design, and changes made for Orlando. Next walk into the 1995 Magic Kingdom attraction and experience the full Floridian preshow in source quality audio and video. Walk into the main theatre and experience the full main show with high quality multi camera video and source quality audio.
Following this see the differences between Orlando and the original Paris and the Tokyo version, plus the different Parisian preshow and sections from Paris excluded from Orlando.
Also available for viewing on YouTube here:
Finally. Another HD edit I’ve always wanted to do. Start with how and why Orlando got the attraction, where it might have gone and why it went where it did. Following a look at how it fitted into Tomorrowland phase two, experience the original 1975 version in multi angle video from a combination of 1980s and early 90s footage, a remade 1975 act IV with source 1985 and clean live 1975 audio.
Next see the changes made through the 80s and early 90s, then look at the major changes made in 1993.
And then, walk into 2015 Tomorrowland for a full look around the attraction in HD. Watch a reconstructed source quality full preshow video, then board the carousel for the full attraction, shot from multiple angles in full HD with a new stereo source quality audio mix.
Shot without a recording ban. 67 minutes long.
Go back to 1969 to see the origins of the original Fantasyland ride. A large concept and construction section covers the rides design, layout, construction and operation and includes a look how the infamous dock layout worked with multiple submarines. Then walk the line and board your sub for a full ride of the attraction, featuring a split screen porthole view for both port and starboard views in sync with each other, and a new stereo mix of the soundtrack from Kingdom of Memories, offering a near perfect clean and clear audio track of the full attraction. Finally see the operational issues the ride had, it’s closure and what happened to the area afterwards. 32 minutes long. Enjoy!
40 years since it opened in Orlando, the complete trip to Mars before Mission: Space was ever thought about.
See the origins of the attraction with Flight to the Moon, how it operated and changes made, then walk in from Tomorrowland 1975 for the full preshow, shot on tripods from several angles and composited to present Mr. Johnson, mission control and all the overhead screens in one clear image. Next walk into your spacecraft for a full multi camera mission to the red planet. With full source audio.
Go back to 1969 to see the design, concepts, layout and construction of Orlando’s Jungle Cruise. Next take a full ride on the original version with original features and rather sparse landscaping! See the changes made in 1973 and through to present day of the queue, boats, script, props and landscaping and then take a full multi angle HD ride of today’s version, including unprecedented full coverage of an entire empty queue and a remixed clean audio track. Finish off with a private night time ride with a unique live no-spiel audio track.
The new Magic Kingdom Parade, shot in full HD from 11 angles with a special audio mix.
Starting with the Grand Marshall and Main Street Philharmonic, this edit has the whole parade in full with each complete float loop fully covered. Audio wise there is a source music mix with live ambiance.
A massive, detailed HD edit covering every aspect of the attraction. Begin with a look at the Disneyland version and the changes made in Orlando with a comparison between the two. Next is a detailed section looking at the planning, design and layout of the Orlando version plus a good look at how the area – and Frontierland Railroad Station – looked both before and during construction.
Take a look around the finished attraction from every area including the full queue, then walk to load for a full multi angle ride through of the whole ride from start to finish including every detail and every main show scene in full.
After riding, wander through Splash Down photos and take a tour of the larger Railroad station and ride both into and out of the ride and station.
Finally, take a whistlestop tour of the ride at night.
I’m again proud of the multitrack full source stereo audio edit I’ve managed.
Reserve over an hour for this one!
Now for something a bit different. Cast your mind back to last fall. Warmer weather. And all the daytime entertainment of Main Street. Shot in full HD from multiple simultaneous angles, with source and clean live audio, full edits of:
Magic Kingdom rope drop / welcome show
The Fall Trolley Show
Main Street Philharmonic
The Dapper Dans
The Flag Retreat
