WDW Transport History

by on Mar.10, 2007, under Non-Theme-Park, Walt Disney World

WDW Transport – A History from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

The history of WDWs Monorails, roads, busses and watercraft. Includes World Drive circa 1990 with the original, new, Disney MGM junctions, brown signs and original MK Auto plaza. Orange and brown parking trams are in fashion, as is a bland T&TC. Journey over Seven Seas Lagoon on the Magic Kingdom I with Jack Wagner, and around it – to and from the MK – in a MkIV monorail cab with Jack too. Ride in the cab to EPCOT Center, and take a brown tram back to the MK lot and to Futureworld. See the original Monorail plans from 1970, and 1975`s expansions, and also see the history of the Friendships, WDWs watercraft on Seven Seas and Bay Lake, Lake Buena Vista and Crescent Lakes waterways, and the bus fleet.
