Tag: Audio-Animatronic Show
Finally, an edit I’ve always wanted to do. Starting with a full concepts and construction section, trace the attractions development back to a Futureworld ride through, the changes to a theatre show and early plans. Next see how the show was designed and built, how a technological marvel operates, and the opening dedication.
Next take a full tour both outside and inside, including a full look at all the artwork, furniture and flags on both lobby levels.
Walk into the theatre and experience the full show, shot from multiple angles in full HD for complete coverage. Each rear projected piece of art was either resampled and composited or scanned from original artwork, and then re-animated to match the projected version exactly with no blur, shake or flicker. The audio was remixed in stereo matching original attraction dialogue, sound effects and stereo musical scores for a source quality stereo soundtrack. Includes the full 2007 source quality Golden Dream finale.
After the show, walk around the exterior looking at various details and finally see the changes to the pavilion since 1982, from the minor to the 1993 animatronic replacement with a side by side comparison plus a source quality complete original 1982 Golden Dream and the full 1993 version too.
Shot with a relaxed video ban. 65 minutes long. Enjoy!
After a brief look at the attractions Orlando history, walk in for the full new (original!) pre show, shot in multi angle video with an ALD/live audio mix. Next, walk into the theatre for a full, multi angle video of the 2011 version of the show with full source audio.
Since this version of the show is now extinct I thought it was time to release a video. Whilst I didn’t capture everything I wanted to due to the unplanned closure, I was fortunate enough to obtain 5 HD angles of the show itself. I also was able to incorporate DV footage of the exterior I had shot prior to going HD. After a great introduction by ETRUNM Cast Members, enjoy the preshow with multi angle HD video and a clean live audio track. Walk into the main theatre and see the whole mainshow in multi camera HD video with a source / ALD audio track.
The second of my re edited trilogy, looking at the changes both to the pavilion and the attractions during the first major Futureworld overhaul. See the changes made to the interior, both in layout and decor. Then take a full, multi angle video and live/Induction audio ride of the 1993 version of Living with the Land. This is followed by a walk into the holding area for Food Rocks, and a new high quality and in-full multi angle, source quality audio edit of the show. Next walk into the Harvest Theatre for a look at the preshow to The Circle of Life, followed by the presentation in full with high quality video and an ALD audio track. Presented in full DV quality, 4:3. Running time 54:30
Here we go, the first of a brand new history trilogy. I thought it was time I covered this pavilion properly and group all the attractions in the correct time period.

Once the show has ended, enter The Harvest Theatre and watch in full Symbiosis, with a clean live audio mix.

Part one (56:15)
Go right back to 1968 and see some of the alternate Tomorrowland ideas, then the construction for opening day. See how…empty Tomorrowland was in October 1971, then ride the Skyway and the Grand Prix Raceway – literally a longer track than today in an open field. See highlights from America the Beautiful, and take in the highlights of a Flight to the Moon, complete with a look at each buildings design and layout. Oh, not forgetting the entrance spires in all their watery glory!
Next up is the first phase expansion; a new showbuilding, Utilidor extention and new restaurant, followed by a full ridethru of If You Had Wings, including new footage and a new audio mix.
Following is 1974, with phase 2 construction in full swing. Ride the Star Jets, and take in the WDW history of Carousel of Progress, with a full multi camera, source audio edit of Now is the Best Time 1985/90. Finally see the history of Space Mountain, early plans and concepts, the layout of the building, construction, the opening ceremony, then the RCA preshow and finally take the full multi angle ride. Not quite lights on, not quite night vision! Finally travel the speedramp out via RCAs Home of Future Living.
Part 2 (56:28 )
Look at the original WEDWay Peoplemover layout, how it fitted into the existing track, and take a quick tour with Jack Wagner and the Edisson Electric Company. See the updates for Mission to Mars, and have a quick tour of the major shops and restaurants of the era. I then touch on the planned Tomorrowland Train Station, what it would have looked like, the Spires fountains deactivation, and highlights of American Journeys (sorry, no Magic Carpet ‘Round the World footage!)
Next, trace the history of the Tomorrowland Stage/Theatre, then take a full multi camera tour on the WEDWay of ORAC-1 with new complete audio mix. Following is a look at the changes to the Carousel of Progress in the early 90`s, and updates to Space Mountain following it`s opening. Take a Dreamflight highlights ride, and see what happened to the Carousel of Progress in 1993.
1994…. one by one the attractions shut. Concepts and construction of New Tomorrowland, including the on ewe didn`t get, and a tour of the new land, day and night. Spin on the Astro Orbiter, then see what the original version of Alien Encounter was like, followed by the changes and highlights for version 2. Finally see the history of the Transportarium, and highlights of From Time to Time (with the finalised source audio wink.gif )
Part 3 (50:57)
Take a full tour of the TTA Metro Blueline, with new audio mix, and see the changes made to Space Mountain by Federal Express. See the stage shows, shops and restaurants of the era, and then see concepts, and take a full multi camera, source audio spin with Buzz lightyear and his Space Rangers. Next is Alien Encounters closure, proposals for it`s replacement, and a full multi camera, remixed audio video of Stitch’s Great Escape. See the changes for the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, Space Mountain after FedEx, and finally Timekeepers closure.
Travel back before Ellen to the 1982 Energy pavilion. Full concept section from the mid 70`s to 1978 to 1980. Full design construction section with an animated look at the original Diorama effects and ride layout. Then walk into the pavilion for the full Radok preshow with source audio. Load in theatre one and see the entire multiplane theatre one film with a remixed audio track. Full multi angle ride through of the original Diorama with a remixed soundtrack, full theatre two holding audio with multi angle video, and full multi angle theatre two film, again with remixed audio. Then travel onwards for the full spectacular multi angle finale with full source audio. Exit theatre two and cross to Communicore and have a quick tour of Energy Exchange. Regarding the theatre remixed audio tracks; as anyone who has tried to record dialogue in the theatres it`s difficult to not get any of the other 600 guests making noise; using multiple tracks these tracks have virtually no guests noise on them. Also, theatre one dialogue tended to record `muffled` and theatre two had a lot of reverb; I`ve eliminated these issues as much as possible too. 56 minutes long.
