World of Motion – Martins Complete Ultimate Tribute from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

Continuing my brand new re edits of EPCOT Center, see the history and origins of the Transportation Pavilion. See it develop in the GM pavilion, how it was designed and see how the pavilion, ride and exhibits were laid out.

Next is a full construction section, charting its progress from ground break to opening.

And then take a full multi camera, detailed full ride from walk in to exit. All material has been enhanced where possible, all projection flicker reduced or eliminated. This is accompanied by a new source and clean live stereo audio mix.

After unloading, walk into Transcenter for a full tour. Highlights include a full multi angle Bird and the Robot show with clean live audio and a full widescreen multi angle, tripod shot The Water Engine show with source audio.

67 minutes long.

I just want to say thank you, Martin. I have been enjoying your EPCOT videos for a few weeks now. In the summer of 1984 my handbell group at church went to Florida for a convention. [You know what handbells are, right? Those little instruments that Whitechapel make over there in England – and yes, my group played Whitechapels!] Anyway as a side trip they took us to brand new EPCOT, and my friends and I were mad because WE wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom, not some dumb-old science fair museum like EPCOT. Needless to say as high-schoolers EPCOT was just the right amount of high-tech entertainment/interesting learning opportunity for us. It was a LIFE CHANGING experience. I didn’t forget “It’s a Small World” or the Pirates or the rollercoasters, but WOW, EPCOT was a theme park for the older kids! Rides with meaningful themes and historical value, not just some (almost)-pointless thrill attraction. I remember one of the things that AMAZED me was the smell-o-vaters…or the scent cannon things. Well, whatever, I just remember being blown away (You can smell the fires of Rome! You can smell the orange groves!) Anyway, I especially appreciate your videos for the architectural plans and ride construction/layout explanation. I never understood how SSE had a ride inside of it (even having ridden it twice myself). It’s sad to think the EPCOT of the 80s will never be again….BUT IT IS ALIVE AND WELL IN YOUR VIDEOS!!! Thank you, Martin! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!!
