Norway at Epcot – Ultimate Tribute HD from Martins Videos on Vimeo.
Travel back to 1982 to see the origins of the parks 11th pavilion as it almost became the 10th as Denmark. Follow the development of the Scandinavian Showcase and see how it changed to Norway, its design and construction and finally the 1988 dedication. Next, take a full tour in HD of the pavilion, ride Maelstrom with multi angle video and a clean audio mix, then settle down for The Spirit of Norway shot in HD on a tripod with a clean ALD audio mix.
28 minutes. Enjoy!

Nice job! Interesting historic bits I’d never heard before. Good job on the ride-through, though that first troll scene appears immune to any attempt to be filmed! And thanks for including stuff on the shops, the Viking boat (sigh), etc.
I have to confess, every Epcot trip, I look forward to some chirpy Norwegian girl say “And now you weel see a five-minute feelm about Nahrway.”

Martin, you are a wonder! Fantastic job on one of my favorite world showcase pavilions. Norway is, to wit, built “fjord tough.”

Martin,
I have enjoyed all of the EPCOT vids you have produced, especially the Horizons video. This one was no exception – excellent work.
Although, I must confess, I did just as many park guests do – I skipped the film! HA! But seriously, after walking about the park all day, I usually did watch the film simply because it was so well done and those wierd wooden seatbacks were remarkably comfortable on your back.
Thanks for your hard work!
