Magic Journeys 2D

Magic Journeys 2D from Martins Videos on Vimeo.
Finally, the complete 1982 EPCOT Center Imagination 3D movie, shot by Mike Lee at Widen Your World on a tripod with a polarising lens. With his permission, I joined both parts into one file, synced up the full stereo source audio track and removed 75-80% of the screen flicker. To preserve quality this is an MPEG file, not divx.

Magic Journeys will always be my favorite 3-D film. It was all about the visual imagery and the music; people didn’t get it because it didn’t have a ‘storyline’. Another example of how the original EPCOT Center attractions were the most intelligent, thought-provoking, and awe-inspiring theme park experiences ever produced, and illustrates the total dumbing-down of today’s Epcot. RIP Magic Journeys, Journey into Imagination, Kitchen Kabaret, Horizons, World of Motion, et al.

I worked as a host at the Magic Eye Theatre during EPCOTs first year. I remember showing this film 8 times per night, 5 nights a week and I never got tired of it.
Well, I take that back. The circus unit was long and boring. Ah, I remember my purple jumpsuit and Kodak yellow shirt. Perhaps you heard the old joke. What do the Kodak jumpsuits and cheap hotels have in common?
No ballroom!!
Thanks for the memories.

Thank you so much!
You did grate job!
I’m very glad to see this movie again.
Because I was so little child when this movie replaced to
captain EO in Tokyo’s Park.
I want to see Meet the world, Visionarium and Mickey mouse review again.

Magic Journey 3D to EPCOT permit me with a short doc explaining 3D to start 3D slides myself with also very pop-up effect when coming back to France, now I made 2D to 3D movie conversion, all 3D supplies, creat 3D system 360° free of glasses. With 3D I like only the pop-up effect but with a perfect control of negative parallax (also positive for all public to avoid any nauseous). TKS to this movie convince me for 3D job. Jean-Marc Hénault / Trivision3d.com
