Dinosaur at DAK – Ultimate Tribute from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

Go back in time 65 million years, or to the mid 90`s to see how Animal Kingdoms opening E Tickets developed and how the indoor EMV attraction came from an outdoor family ride. After a full concepts and construction section, learn the story to the ride with a lot of story and ride details often missed by guests. Then it`s on to a time travel trip circa 1998 for a recreation of the original Countdown to Extinction, with multi camera video including long missing visual effects and the original audio narration that was changed at park opening. See the changes made over the years, then take a modern day trip on Dinosuar including a look at the Rotunda show, full preshow with ALD audio, a look around the research facility and finally a full ride with multi camera video and an induction / clean live audio track. 33 minutes.
It`s fast. It`s a blast. It`s in the past!

Thanks for a great video. I was at AK on preview week when it was “Countdown to Extinction” and it was a lot louder and rougher, not so now, but still one of my favorites.

    Thank you,

    Mark

I went on this ride when it was already “remade” for Aladar and his friends. I love your tribute here, but I am quite disappointed to discover that it replaced all my chances of getting to go to a dinosaur park like the one I saw Walt in when I was a little girl. Dinosaurs were my LIFE when I was little and I have never really been a thrill-seeker, so when I went to the park I expected this dino-petting zoo sort of thing and was let down. Now I know why and I know whats in it’s place. Also, since I was little, when I went on this, I thought that we would all walk out with Aladar dolls like the one my friend had, but sadly, they didn’t even have him in the shop afterwards. Another disappointment and it was the only thing that got me on the ride besides Aladar himself because I loved him when I was little. He was the only thing that made it worth it.

Great tribute! I have to say I do not like it when Disney has to “tone down” attractions. I am 31 years old and this ride scares the hell out of me today. But I love it!
