Hot off the press! Only shot this week! Start off in Hotel New York – Art of Marvel to look at the holiday decorations then walk over to Disneyland Parc for a look at the amazing decorations from the entrance to the castle. As night falls cross to Walt Disney Studios for a look at the decorations there, then it’s back to Disneyland for a look at the breathtaking night time decorations.

Then – Mickeys Dazzling Christmas Parade. The all new parade fantastic at night time. First, take a front row view and take in the full parade as it passes along the parade route, shot multi camera with a clean live audio mix. Follow the parade into central plaza (the hub) and see the full four stage show stop performance with Sleeping Beauty Castle as a backdrop. Next follow the parade down Main Street for a highlights showing of the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. All video is still of course multi camera.

Finally leave Town Square and return to Hotel New York via Disney Village to see the holiday decorations at night.

Pirates of the Caribbean – Martin’s 2021 Ultimate Tribute – part four Paris from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

A huge project that’s been a real labour of love for me. See why the Parisian Pirates is considered by many to be the best and most lavish version of the legacy rides. Go back to the origins of the ride, how it was changed from previous versions, how and why the storyline was altered and how it was designed and laid out and built. Also take a look at all the major changes made since 1992. Then take a full, shot in 4K tour of the attraction from outside, a detailed look at the queue, and on to the lavish load dock. I took care as much as possible to make each shot appear how the ride does. Not too dark, not too bright. Experience a full, huge multi angle edit of the ride covering every detail. Similarly I’m quite proud of the all new source and clean live audio mix I’ve slaved away at. Disembark, browse the store, walk outside, then take a full tour of Captain Jacks restaurant. Jump on the steam train to see the ride from the railroad, then take a look around the expanded attraction area at dusk. This ones been a project of passion for me. I started editing it a year ago and ended up with footage from 15 rides over 2 separate trips. I hope you think it was worth it.

The last in this series covering all 4 Thunder Mountains. See the origins of the Parisian version, why it was built where it was and how it ties into the backstory of Frontierland. Follow its design, how it varies from previous versions, and construction.

Next see why many consider this the best version of the attraction in a full, multi angle shot in 4K tour of Frontierland, the queue line and the ride itself. Since they are closely linked and the mountain is visible from her, next take a highlights tour on the Molly Brown to see the mountain from all angles, then after sundown take a night ride on Thunder Mountain too. Shot in 4K from multiple angles for all the details, here is the lavish Parisian version of the ride. Don’t let the music put you off – this is a new full source mix of the gorgeous re-recorded and orchestrated Paris soundtrack. Also included is the clock show and a ride through on the Railroad.

In a change to the scheduled program, and with the sad news that DLP has closed again, I thought this may be of interest. In September 2020 we were fortunate to be able to stay for 3 nights at Newport Bay and have 4 days in the parks. I didn’t intend to release this video at first, but I feel it’s a way to show support to the cast and the resort, and show how safe is was. Part trip video, part Disneyland Paris tour, take in Newport Bay, Disney Village and both parks including highlight edits of virtually every open attraction. Shot in 4K and with plenty of source audio, this I feel is a surreal snapshot of what was at times a beautiful but virtually empty park. We were also lucky to experience the first morning of what turned out to be a curtailed Halloween season. I hope you enjoy this 2 hour DLP tour extravaganza.

Here is the full Disneyland Parc night time extravaganza. Fireworks, fountains, lights, lasers, flames and projections all captured in 4K plus a source audio track with clean live pyro. Afterwards sample the post show and follow the crowds down Main Street.

My first edit that I shot myself totally in 4K. This has enabled me to produce an edit that’s more or less how the human eye sees it. The attraction reopened earlier this year after a 15 month refurbishment and I was lucky to ride it several times in June. Take a tour of the garden and queue, enter the foyer, and take a complete multi angle tour of the attraction covering every detail. After riding, exit the crypt, take a look around the cemetery and then sample the atmosphere as darkness falls.

Audio is a mix of totally clean live and source, hopefully it is one of the best versions of the complete new soundtrack available to date.
