Another colossal project charting the history of the New Fantasyland project. Starting with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea closing follow proposals that never happened for the lagoon, and its removal. See what happened in the interim, and then the original NFL plans, both before and after the changes. With before and after pictures see the land grow from the ground from start to finish.
Then take a wall through the construction wall for highlights from the soft opening of Enchanted Tales with Belle. See the layout of this attraction, and also Ariel’s Undersea Adventures : Voyage of the Little Mermaid, before taking your place outside the planters for the first soft opening of the land to guests. Follow the crowds to Mermaid and take a full HD tour of the queue with the first guests to be admitted. Then take a full multi camera HD, mostly source audio ride on the attraction as it appeared on opening day.
After exiting, peek inside Ariel’s Meet and Greet, Bonjour Gifts and Gaston’s Tavern on opening day too and then take a tour of Be Our Guest restaurant too.
Another huge project…. full of WEDway!
Beginning with the origins of the ride, look at how Tomorrowland developed and how the WEDway route was refined. See the development of the ride system progressed, how it fits into Tomorrowland and how it actually works. Next is a full concept and construction section, followed by a recreation of the original 1975-1985 era ride. Using vintage footage take a multi angle trip around and through the whole ride including Mission to Mars, RCA Space Mountain with Home of Future Living and If You Have Wings, set to the original Jack Wagner spiel. I’m hoping this audio track, whilst certainly not perfect, is one of the clearest and most complete mixes available.
This is followed by a spin on the original Star Jets.
Next up is a full multi angle night ride on the 1985-1994 ORAC-1 WEDway. This includes RCAs RYCA-1 and Delta Dreamflight. Audio again is I hope one of the clearest and most complete version of this spiel, mixed from front and rear car recordings so nothing was missed.
See the changes made in 1994, then take a full daytime multi angle ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority TTA Blueline. Again, audio was specifically recorded with a directional microphone from both the front and back cars, and again I hope this is one of the best and most complete recordings.
Following this is a full multi camera, HD spin on the Astro Orbiter.
This is followed by yet more – a HD, multi angle daytime ride of the 2009 Peoplemover with audio again mixed from front and rear cars. I also with this edit attempted to use more unusual camera angles to differ from the many ride throughs already available.
And still there’s more! A daytime off ride look at the Peoplemover as it travels around the various parts of Tomorrowland.
For anyone still watching, next up is an in depth look at the WEDway proposed for Lake Buena Vista, E.P.C.O.T. and Communicore. Then look at and ride the WEDway at Houston Airport and the WEDway derived line in Washington DC.
And finally….. a night time HD multi angle ride around Tomorrowland of today.
Each section is set to contemporary Tomorrowland music of the time. 87 minutes long.
Walk into the DHS Muppet courtyard and take a full look around. Then walk into the holding and preshow area for a detailed look at all the props and sight gags.
Next up is the full original Kodak Preshow, with all 3 screens shot separately and composited on the same screen.
Following this, walk into the main show and take your seat for a multiple angle, tripod shot full main show including composite shots to show all the details at the same time. The main screen, both balconies, Swedish Chef, Sweetums and key orchestra moments are all covered. The main screen was also shot with a polarising filter to remove the double image.

After the mainshow take a complete tour of the immediate area including Stage One Company store, It’s a Wonderful Shop, Mamma Melrose’s, Pizza Planet and a full walk of the Muppetvision overflow queue and all its gags.
The complete 2015 version of the popular stage show. Shot in multi camera HD for all the details, begin with the queue details then next take your seat for the whole show, shot from multiple angles with great low light tripod shots, composited stage wide / detail shots and a flicker free projection screen. Features a new source score / dialogue and live singing audio mix.
Something a little different. In 2014 and 2015 I made sure to do an exterior tour of every area liable to change in the future. A snapshot in time before things changed and possibly change.
Start by driving into the parking lot via both entrances and enter the park. Walk around Animation Courtyard then down Mickey Avenue / Pixar Place and all around the Fountain Courtyard / Studio Catering area.
Then pass the Honey play area into Streets of America and take a full walking tour of all the streets, the buildings and its details. Finish with a walk around Streets of America at night.
All set to an audio mix of past DHS and MGM shows and entertainment.
A huge edit of the entire Orlando stunt show. Walk into the attraction area, through the queue area and into the grandstand to take your seat for an unobstructed view. Shot with multiple full HD cameras simultaneously for complete coverage – wide shots, close ups, the video screen by tripod; all the action and details are captured.
Audio is a direct feed from the mixing desk for clear and clean music and narration as heard during the actual show with no noise, talking or distractions.
A colossal project that has ended up better than I could have hoped. Starting with the origins of the pavilion in the mid 1980s see how it developed through concept art and plans in a full concept and construction section. Walk the queue taking in all the decor and display details. Both hold-up show scenes are also covered in full from multiple simultaneous angles, and finally the new finale movie is shown in full from start to finish in source like quality.
Add to this possibly the most complex multi track stereo audio mix I’ve attempted to date. Audio is almost exclusively source or induction for the best possible quality of every audio detail, effect, score and narration.
