Take a full tour of Shanghai’s Enchanted Storybook Castle and surrounding attractions. Start in the Gardens of Imagination and take a quick spin on the Fantasia Carousel and Dumbo. Walk around the castle and it’s vast plazas, then marvel at the interior atrium and walk to the upper floors for the Once Upon a Time Adventure. Go back downstairs, explore the ground floor, then take a multi angle ride on Voyage to the Crystal Grotto. Next, explore the Alice in Wonderland Maze, have dinner in the Royal Banquet Hall, and take another quick ride on Crystal Grotto but at night. It’s truly a huge complex with many attractions that we found you can easily a few hours exploring.

Shanghai’s nighttime show – and what a show. It’s what primary colours and LED were made for. Using the size of the castle for some of the sharpest and biggest projections yet on any castle this show hit all the feels. Yes it’s shiny and modern and state of the art – just like the park – but it has everything thrown at it and then some along with a great, infectious soundtrack. Water. Fire. Searchlights. Multiple pyro locations. Lasers. Ground lighting. Projection mapping.
