Continuing my brand new re edits of EPCOT Center, see the history and origins of the Transportation Pavilion. See it develop in the GM pavilion, how it was designed and see how the pavilion, ride and exhibits were laid out.

Next is a full construction section, charting its progress from ground break to opening.

And then take a full multi camera, detailed full ride from walk in to exit. All material has been enhanced where possible, all projection flicker reduced or eliminated. This is accompanied by a new source and clean live stereo audio mix.

After unloading, walk into Transcenter for a full tour. Highlights include a full multi angle Bird and the Robot show with clean live audio and a full widescreen multi angle, tripod shot The Water Engine show with source audio.

The first of my major re edits. I`ve gone all out for the best quality I can with these “Ultimate” videos. My “Ultimate” though – I`m sure with access to WDIs video and audio archives it could be better still! I`ve re digitised all the media I can; tapes, audio, even pictures at the highest quality I can for these and I hope it shows. Not to mention (hopefully) better editing and the little things like spot fx here and there too. I also have more media to choose from this time around, so I`ve managed to cover even more details. That`s the idea anyhow, here`s the blurb:

Full backstory from the 1978 Transportation pavilion to Motion. Full concept and construction section, maps of the building, ride and Transcenter, then full multi angle ride thru of the attraction with full source music & narration, and enhanced audio fx. Also features improved enhancement of the Center Core finale.

Cast your mind back to the hot summer months. Seaworlds Electric Ocean Summer promotion cumulated in a surprisingly excellent multimedia show with some of the best fireworks show music I’ve heard for a long time. Fireworks, lasers, fire, lighting, fountains and projections all make up this extravaganza, shot over closing weekend from 3 angles with a source score / live ambiance mix. Also includes Extreme Beam (“the laser man”) and some preshow dancing. Enjoy!

Futureworld 90 – a walk around; I`ve wanted to do something like this for a while. I have so many little clips from June 1990 on tape I wanted to get them all together, you could call this EPCOT Center: everything BUT the attractions.

The Water Engine at EPCOT Center Full Show from Martins Videos on Vimeo.

The whole Water Engine show that ran from 1982 to 1996 in World of Motions Transcenter. Very rare footage, provided by Widen Your World and shot all on tripod from 3 angles. Since the show was very wide with separate vertical screens, shooting this way has enabled a composite to be assembled presenting the complete show as it was originally seen.

Trace the origins of Test Track back to 1976, then see the proposals and concepts for the World of Motion replacement. See how Test Track was built, how close to the 1982 ride path the new one is, and how the current attraction works. See why it took so long to open, with both preview videos, then walk the line into the briefing rooms for a split screen preshow. Next, take a multi angle complete ride with enhanced audio and LCD screen inset, browse the postshow area, and finally take the outside loop at night. 39 minutes long. Enjoy!

The last of my completely new Futureworld re edits (but not the last from EPCOT Center) sees a huge, 100 minute long detailed look at the 1989 pavilion.

Start with a look at early designs and proposals for the Health and Life pavilion, how the final design was arrived at, laid out and then built.

Walk into the pavilion and take a full multi angle tour. As well as vintage 80s and 90s clips, much of this footage was shot early and late in the day of the pavilions last day of operation to show unobscured views of the interior. This is a detailed tour of the inside, walking pass Pure and Simple, then walk through the exhibits of Sensory Fun House and arrive at…

Cranium Command
Walk the queue and see the holding area displays. See the full preshow in high quality, steadily shot and stabilised in an empty theatre with screen flicker greatly reduced and an ALD audio track.
Walk into the main theatre, take your seat for a full, multi camera complete mainshow edit, partly tripod shot, again with all projection flicker greatly reduced and with a new stereo source quality audio mix.
Leave the Cranium theatre and cross over to…

The Making of Me
Take your place in the queue for the Birth Theatre, then take your seat for the full movie presentation. This unobscured video was tripod shot, keystone corrected and flicker eliminated. Audio is a clean live and ALD mix.
Walk through Coaches Corner, MET Life Styles and then head for….

Body Wars
Walk the whole main queue with all three complete preshows in source quality. Proceed to the waiting area and watch the whole load video, again in source quality. Board body probe 229 for the full, unobscured main ride. Video was steadily shot with a bonus of the ride motion base disabled, enhanced and is flicker free. The side screen was similarly shot and is overlaid as needed. Audio is a new stereo source quality track.
Exit the ride into Frontiers of Medicine and then enjoy…

Goofy About Health.
The whole show presented as a multi screen edit with each screen shot separately and a clean, enhanced live stereo audio track.
Take a look at Anacomical Players, take a last look around and then see the major changes made over the years. Phew!
